Pallet Stack Height Calculator

Calculate total loaded pallet height from pallet height, carton height and number of layers, then compare it with a maximum height limit.

Stack inputs

Formula
Pallet height + (carton height × layers)

Worked example

A 5.5 inch pallet carrying six 10 inch carton layers has a total loaded height of 65.5 inches. Against a 72 inch limit, that leaves 6.5 inches of height clearance.

Frequently asked questions

Should the maximum height include the pallet?

Usually the operational limit applies to the complete loaded unit. This tool therefore compares pallet height plus carton layers with the maximum total height you enter.

Does the calculator check pallet weight?

No. Height and weight constraints are separate. Confirm pallet, rack, vehicle and handling-equipment weight limits independently.
